Privacy Policy

Hack Frontend (hackfrontend.com) is a solo project for frontend interview preparation. This policy explains what data is collected, why, and how it is handled. Using the platform means you agree to this policy.

1. What data we collect

We collect data needed to run the account, deliver the service, and grant paid access:

• Account. Email, name, and profile picture from registration or from Google sign-in.
• Password. If you register with email, the password is stored as a cryptographic hash. Plaintext passwords are never stored.
• Usage and content. Progress, saved solutions, notes, favorites, and other content you create on the platform.
• Subscription. Plan, status, dates, and notes needed to grant or revoke Pro. We do not store card numbers or wallet secrets.
• Messages from forms. Support, content suggestions, and service requests. That often includes a Telegram handle so we can reply.
• Technical data. Session tokens, cookies, locale, and similar data needed to keep you signed in and show the right language.

2. Cookies and local storage

The site uses cookies and similar storage in the browser:

• Session. To keep you signed in.
• Locale. To remember the language you chose.
• Drafts. Code drafts and last list filters can stay in local or session storage on your device.
• Analytics. Vercel Analytics, Yandex Metrika, and Google Tag Manager may set their own cookies in production.

3. Analytics

In production we use Vercel Analytics, Yandex Metrika, and Google Tag Manager to see how the platform is used. This can include technical data such as IP address, device, and pages visited. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers as an audience list.

4. Third parties

Data is processed on infrastructure we use to run the product. That includes hosting, the database, Google and GitHub sign-in, transactional email (verification, password reset, 2FA), and analytics listed above. Each provider handles data under its own policy.

If you write to the founder in Telegram to pay for Pro, or send a form that includes a Telegram handle, that conversation is also processed by Telegram.

5. Payments

Paid access is arranged with the founder in Telegram. Hack Frontend does not collect or store card numbers. After the transfer is confirmed, Pro is granted on the account. The account then stores the plan, status, and dates. Card payments, if added later, will go through an external provider. Their details will not be stored on Hack Frontend.

6. Your rights and data retention

Account data is kept while the account exists. You can request at any time:

• Correction or export of your data.
• Deletion of the account and data tied to it.

Write through the support form on the platform or email hackfrontendinterview@gmail.com. Requests are processed within 7 days. There is no self-serve delete button yet.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the platform changes. The date at the top of the page is the current revision.
